Twitter has announced on Monday that co-founder, Jack Dorsey, will step down as CEO of the company.
“After almost 16 years of having a role at our company… I decided it’s finally time for me to leave… I want you all to know that this was my decision and I own it… It was a tough one for me, of course. I love this service and company.”

Replacing Jack Dorsey is Parag Agrawal, former Chief Technology Officer at Twitter. He was appointed as the new CEO effective immediately upon Jack’s resignation.
Jack will remain the CEO of his digital payments company: Square Inc.
